Rehoming Info about rehoming Why rehome Why rehome By rehoming, rather than buying, you are giving a pet a second chance at the life they deserve. Every pet currently at the Rescue Centre is here through no fault of their own and they are all looking for that special home where they will have the care and attention they deserve. A fit and healthy pet When you rehome from Animals in Distress, you will take home a pet who has been fully assessed by our expert animal welfare staff as well as our veterinary surgeon. Every pet at the Rescue Centre is: Vaccinated, microchipped and neutered (where appropriate for their species) Given worming and flea treatments (where appropriate for their species) Examined by a vet and given any necessary treatments Given a training plan designed to meet their specific needs The first step to opening your home and your heart to a rescue pet is to have a look at the pets who are currently at the Rescue Centre looking for a new home. If you think any are right for you, simply click on the ‘Rehome Me’ button and complete our rehoming questionnaire. We’ll then get in touch and will work together with you to find your perfect, new pet.
