How we care for your pet We know it can be stressful leaving your pet in the care of someone else, so we want to assure you that we'll look after your dog(s) as if they were our own. While your dogs(s) are with us at the Animals in Distress Boarding Kennels, they will receive the best care from an experienced Animal Welfare Assistant. Your dog(s) will be cared for almost exclusively by one member of staff so they will have a chance to get used to him and feel more settled. Exercised off lead twice a day in our secure field, your dogs(s) will have a chance to stretch their legs and burn off energy. Each of our four boarding kennels has a warm indoor area and another area which allows them to see outside and keep an eye on what’s going on. To make your dog(s) even more comfortable, we ask that you bring their bed, favourite toys and any other items which may make them feel more at home. If you’re thinking of leaving your dog(s) in our care while you’re away, you are very welcome to come up and have a look at our boarding kennels at any time during our opening hours.
