We regret to announce that from Monday 3rd July 2017 Animals in Distress will no longer be able to offer a commercial dog boarding service.
We have had to come to this decision as our boarding kennel facility has never been large enough to make it financially viable, and it takes a lot of staff time away from the rescue animals that are in need of our help.
In addition, the outbreak of infection in our rabbit department last year made it clear that we are in desperate need of a rabbit and guinea pig isolation facility, and we want to convert the building to that end.
Thank you so much to everyone that has boarded their dogs with us over the years, and we regret that we will be unable to provide the service in the future.
We are still taking bookings for any dates up to and including Sunday 2nd July.
