On Sunday 10th December, St. Mary’s Church in Totnes will open its doors to all four-legged creatures and their owners for the Annual Pet Service organised together with Animals in Distress.

In its 11th year, the service of Thanksgiving is much-loved by the local community. Reverend Julian Ould will conduct the joyous service which will comprise of candle lighting, prayer and poem reading and heart-warming stories of animals whose lives have been changed for the better by Animals in Distress.

St. Mary’s choir, accompanied by the barking and meowing members of the congregation, will also sing some rousing animal-themed hymns.

We hope to welcome well-behaved pets of all varieties this year.

The service will be held at 4.30pm and everyone is welcome.
