Puppy Care Unit Appeal - 15.07.2009
The Rescue Centre has launched an appeal for a new Puppy Care Unit. This new facility has been planned to enable us to improve the nursing care of mums and pups that come into the Rescue Centre. The new building will not only include a puppy care unit but also two quiet kennels for dogs that can't cope with being in the main kennel block and two kennels for dogs recovering from surgery. There will also be an area for socialising and assessing dogs.
The Charity has already received a generous legacy of £30,000 from Clare Louise Bear towards building the unit, but we need to raise at least a further £50,000 for this exciting project to be completed.
There are several ways that you can donate:
By post to The Rescue Centre, Edgelands Lane, Ipplepen, TQ12 5UG. Please make cheques payable to "Animals in Distress Puppy Appeal)
By Phone (01803): Most Major credit and debit cards accepted.
In person: By visiting the Rescue Centre or one of our shops.
If you would like to organise your own fundraising event or for further information, please contact The Rescue Centre.
Brochures, Posters, T-shirts and other merchandise are now available from the Rescue Centre.
"BUY A BRICK" ! If you are a business, a school, an organisation or a private individual you can play your part and buy a brick for £5. How about making a donation in lieu of a birthday or anniversary present or to commemorate loved one? Your name will be displayed on a "Roll of Honour". Contact the Rescue Centre for more details.
