 Puppy Care Unit started! - 08.03.2010
Building work has begun on the new Puppy Care Unit at the Rescue Centre. The Unit will include a mum and pups kennel, two quiet kennels for nervous dogs, two indoor kennels for dogs following surgery, an assessment room, office and kitchen area.
Work is due to be completed by the end of July and there will be a grand opening ceremony - details to follow.

 Sunday Help Needed! - 08.02.2010
Do you have a few spare hours each Sunday to help in the Rabbit Section at the Rescue Centre?
Volunteers (18 yrs+) are urgently needed to assist with the cleaning and feeding of the many lovely bunnies and guinea pigs currently looking for new homes.

 Christmas at the Centre - 15.12.2009
Many thanks to everyone who has been bringing gifts of food, treats and toys to the Rescue Centre for the animals at Christmas. All our animals have presents on Christmas morning and a bit of turkey too!
The Centre will be closed to the public on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

 Fun Dog Show - 14.09.2009
The annual Fun Dog Show was held at the Rescue Centre on Sunday 13th September.
The weather was perfect and the crowds turned out to support the Charity. Over 250 dogs were entered into the 12 classes which included Most Handsome Dog, Waggiest Tail and Dog Most Unlikely to Win a Beauty!
Best in Show (pictured) was Meg, a Labradoodle, belonging to Marion Smylie and Louis and Reserve Best in Show was Retriever cross, Bentley, belonging to Jill Bartlett.
