Fundraising plays an important role in Animals in Distress.

Many years ago most of the fundraising was arranged by small local groups and individuals who raised money by holding coffee mornings, book stalls, car boot sales, etc.
Today, although every year we hold regular events such as our Dog Show, Open Day, Christmas Fayre, the smaller fundraising group still plays an important part within the Charity.

There are also individuals, teams and clubs who raise money through sponsored events.  For example, sponsored swims, sponsored walks and occasionally a sponsored silence!   Recently a young lady raised a considerable amount by completing a sponsored sky dive.

Would you like help in organising a fundraising event or sponsored event?

Would you like to form a local fundraising group?

Would you like to volunteer to help at a fundraising event?

Or, if you just have a great idea ………..

We look forward to hearing from you.

Please contact Simon Veasey (Fundraising/Publicity) on 01803 312603.
